| 28th June | Jim Green smashed the 50m and 100m 80-84 male age group Surrey County breastroke records on his way to double gold, setting an unofficial National record in the 50m event. Jim also picked up a silver medal in the 50m freestyle. |

| 12th April | Jim Green has completed his first training session at the Challenge Stadium in Perth, Australia, venue for the World Masters Swimming Championships. The opening ceremony is on the 17th of April and Jim's first competition will be the 100m breaststroke on Saturday the 19th. |

Jim Green has arrived in Australia and has started training in preparation for the XII FINA World Masters Swimming Championships in Perth. His two warm up meetings at Crawley in West Sussex and Sandown on the Isle of Wight have already netted him a clutch of gold medals and a UK national record in the 80-84 year age group. |
